We source our Monte Rosso grapes each year since 1999 from a small two contacting-acre block at the very top of the Monte Rosso vineyard. This block is one of the oldest blocks planted in the 1880's, many years before Teddy Roosevelt was President. Combines power and elegance, vibrant blackberry & cherry pie, licorice flavors, hot brick, black raspberry, complex flavors. Nicely focused, anise, tar nose; cracked black pepper smoke, tasty black fruit, dried berry palate and solid structure with a long seductive finish. 275 cases produced. Good golly, Miss Molly!
