2006 Monte Rosso Zinfandel

Rob Fanucci still uses the 100-plus-year-old winemaking tools he inherited from his grandfather to make this wine. Basket pressing and never-ending punch downs give this wine many qualities that are not found in a lot of its more modern counterparts. Very plush with brambled blackberries and velvety rich vanilla. This wine was the crème brulee of the line up with its full-bodied richness.
